I Started
Making Webpages When Webtv First Launched Their
Pagebuilder Service Around Late Winter Of 1998. The
Pagebuilder Is A Really Nice Service,
And Great For Folks To Learn HTML With. But It
Does Have Some Limitations. I Learned To Overcome
Most Of The Limitations Through The Use Of Some HTML
Tricks. After Some Time, I Was Making My Pages Using
Only One "Heading" Box On The Pagebuilder. Then The
Entire Pages Became One Single Tag For Each Page.
It Was Then I Knew I Would Be Able To Write My Pages
On Another Website Hosting Service.I Was Already
Registered With Yahoo-Geocities. I Had Signed Up
Around March Or April Of 1999 So I Could Use Their
Yahoo Personals To Try And Meet A Special Someone. I
Had Recently Split With My Ex Of 18 Years And Had Some Fears About The Dating Scene, But Thought This Would Be A Good Place To Start.
Well, Since Then I Have Met That Special Someone...And Have Been Very Content And
Happy Since. For Me, If Life Can't Be Shared,
It Doesn't Seem Full. When I Was Registering To Use
The Personals, I Was
Prompted
To Choose A Name For Myself For E-Mail Purposes. I
Gave It Some Thought...And Came Up With The Name
MoovNon. The Name Was A Symbol That I Was
"Moving On" With My Life After The End Of The 18 Year
Relationship. I Never Used The Personal's Service Again After I
Met My Special Someone. I Had Almost Forgotten All About The Name MoovNon.
Then When I Went To Start
My Webpages On Yahoo-Geocities...The Name Was Still
There When I Went To Sign Up. I Found That There Was
No Need To Sign Up...I Was Already In The System.
Everytime I Saw The Name MoovNon...I Thought About The Way I Felt After I Found Myself Alone At The Ripe Old Age Of 40. It Was A Very Sad And Lonely Time For Me,
So I Seriously Considered Deleting MoovNon And
Re-registering Under Another Name. But I Was Anxious
To Get Started On Making My Webpages...And I Never
Re-registered.
Today...When I See The Name "MoovNon"...It
Doesn't Have The Same Negative Feelings Associated
With It. All My Webpages Are Associated With It
Instead. So...I Suppose I Have Finally, Truely Moved
On. And That's A Great Feeling!
That's The Story Of How The Name Came About.
